But it was worth it! After about 10 completely failed attempts, I finally got the hang of cooking this plastic menace! And figured out enough to do a little art project with colored pencils and sharpies. It’s not quite like I saw on Pinterest, but I am happy enough now to turn off the oven and forget the whole thing. For now…hahahaha.
Also, please apologize to your loved ones, because I know you will be sucked into Pinterest after reading this. 🙂

It’s my daughter’s first birthday (well it was Thursday, but the party is today. In a few short hours, her family will enjoy these cute little leaves and ladybugs cut from the Cricut. Totally easy, totally cute! Here’s a peak!
I just changed the name of my etsy shop to OrganicSugar Art & Gifts. I’ll be posting pictures of the stuff I am making here and linking them to the new shop. The address is: http://www.OrganicSugar.etsy.com
or you can click here: it’s easier. 🙂
Here are some of the offerings on the shop so far….
I’ve updated my magnet tins to be more aggressive, if you will. 🙂 Check it out! I’m listing them in my etsy shop when I get a second to do so. Heehee. So far, I’m on cupcakes. Red Flowers and Orchids to follow.
So I’m doing my first show of the Summer tomorrow and I can’t wait to put up the finished tent, so here are the pieces I am going to be using. I also have some SUPER COOL fabrics that my talented seamstress grandmother sewed for me. I tried to learn but this was much easier. 🙂
I’ve once again used the Cricut to get the letters, glued them onto wood circles from Michael’s to make signs for the booth. My husband, Trevor, helped me with the chalkboards by cutting old backer board for tile and glueing galvanized steel onto it. I then sprayed them several times with chalkboard paint, and they are ready to go in their frames! No one that helped me is going to read this but I am so grateful for all the various talents of my family members! Thank you!
So, here are some preview shots of the new feel for 2009!
I did these for my cousin who is having a boy in Oct. That Cricut is so addictive it’s SICK! 🙂 They are made with the “new arrival” cartridge, and loads of green paper. 🙂
